Upgrading to LMS 7.9

Currently running 7.7.4-1406106846 which is the latest 7.7.4 build. This is on a Win7 laptop.

Anything special to do to upgrade to the latest LSM 7.9.0-1406814226?

Do I need to uninstall 7.7.4 first?

I assume EDO will still work with upgraded SB Touch 7.9 firmware.

Is it worth upgrading? Any comments/recommendations much appreciated?
