Hi,
Noob question coming up - if there's documentation I've missed, please redirect me! I have LMS 7.7.3 running on a Mac, scanning the iTunes folder. Most of the files are currently WAV, but I'm in the process of converting them to ALAC. I have one device on the network (a Roberts Stream 83i) that won't talk ALAC. What's the best way of dealing with that? Of course I could set up a duplicate library, but If I've understood my googling correctly, I believe there's a way of setting up live transcoding?? I've found settings --> advanced --> filetypes, but don't know if that's relevant. Help...
