Hello,
Looking for a bit of help with getting logitechmediaservice to run when the computer boots up.
I'm using a Raspberry Pi model B running current version of Raspbmc and setup logitech media server 7.7.2 using the guide at All Things Pi http://allthingspi.webspace.virginmedia.com/lms.php.
Setup went well and service started ok using sudo service logitechmediaserver start. However, the service did not start automatically when the Pi was booted. I always had to use sudo service logitechmediaserver start.
Since then I have updated to LMS 7.8 using the deb from http://www.imagineict.co.uk/squeezier-pi
As before, all seems to work well but the service still does not automatically start at boot up.
I've checked init.d and the logitechmediaserver script is there and after many hours Googling I haven't got any further.
Does anybody have any pointers of what I should look at to find out why LMS is not starting at boot?
Thanks very much
