Basic question - creating a playlist ?

Hi

Probably hard to believe but I've never created a playlist with LMS before (I'm now on 7.9x).

I need to create some now - is it straightforward ? Can it be done remotely e.g. via SqueezeCommander on my Samsung S3 ?
