LMS converting to mp3 automatically ?

Hi

Just been reactivating LMS on a laptop in preparation for upcoming party.

Noticed that mp3 conversion options were greyed out in Player - Audio settings, so installed Lame correctly.

Will LMS now automatically convert non-mp3 to mp3 format (as it seems to suggest on the webpage interface) ? Or can it be turned on/off as desired ?
