LMS 7.8.0 on WD My Cloud 4TB

Hi,

I just bought a WD My Cloud to run LMS from, but I can't get it to work - the log says: Logitech Media Server died. Restarting.

I followed the directions at h**p://mybookworld.wikidot.com/squeezeboxserver using a combination of putty and WinScp:

cd /DataVolume/shares/Public
aptitude update

wget h**p://downloads.slimdevices.com/LogitechMediaServer_v7.8.0/logitechmediaserver_7.8.0_all.deb
dpkg -i logitechmediaserver_7.8.0_all.deb

I can access twonky at port 8000, but there's connection at port 9000.
