SB3 LMS ickstream problem

I just tried to install the ickstream plugin on my LMS (I think I had 7.73). I followed the wiki - pasted in the URL, got it listed, then checked the enable box, then clicked apply and nothing has happened. I waited awhile and then open and closed my browser (Firefox) and I cant connect to the LMS. I just get a message "unable to connect" (URL is localhost:9000). This is on an imac, so I used time machine to reinstall Firefox from a few hours ago but the same thing happened. Any advice on what to do? Do I need to reload LMS?
