There are a few things that have recently been annoying me about LMS and the Web UI:
1) If I search on 'Songs' in the Web UI the result isn't sorted in alphanumeric order
and
If the tracks are derived from cue files (rather than tags) they are prefixed with the track number from the cue file, e.g. a track with the title of "This Track" will appear as "5. This Track", in the results of a search on 'songs'.
(Curiously, when doing a similar search on 'songs' on the Controller, the cue file track name isn't prefixed with the track number in the results.)
2) Accented characters are dealt with fine when they are in tags but when they are in cue files the scanner doesn't deal with them properly:
- if they are in the track_title the scanner substitutes the filename for the track_title
- if they are in the album_title the scanner puts "No Album" in the database
- etc, etc
Also, if there is a single ' (apostrophe) in a cue track_title the scanner substitutes the filename for the track_title, but when there is more than one apostrophe it behaves OK. [Edit: It seems that the single apostrophe problem doesn't always occur - will investigate further.]
Are these 'bugs' unique to my setup or are they general?
Also, I realise it is very late in the day but it is it worth raising a bug report?
