(I tried posting this once before but don't think it worked.)
After many years my LMS stopped working around 8/17 or 8/18/15. According to the diagnostics tab on the LMS control panel ports 3483 (slimproto), 9000 (HTTP), and 9090 (CLI) failed. The alert field says possible software conflict without providing any other info. The LMS is enabled in Windows firewall and the web based MySqueezebox.com also works. The ports ping successfully, and all other wireless functions and devices seem to be working normally.
There was an anti-virus update last Monday (8/17/15) just before the trouble started. I have tried disabling anti virus and re-starting the LMS with no success. I have also restarted computer after unplugging everything after disabling anti-virus to no avail.
I have repeatedly logged off, unplugged everything including the router and modem and restarted, but with no success. (I am sick of doing that!)
I have not yet tried uninstalling and reinstalling the LMS because I dont see how that would be a port problem, but I just dont know. Has anyone else had this problem and fixed it with a reinstall? Or doing something else? Anything else?
According to Windows firewall manager the ports in question are fully accessible to this server/program and always have been.
I would really like to be able to access my 300 GB of ITunes music, including playlists through the Squeezebox Boom server software (along with Pandora and other internet radio) from the computer, which is how I listen to music 90% of the time. If I cant have that functionality Grace products are starting to look pretty good to me.
LMS is fully up to date, computer is Windows 7, 64 bit, Squeezebox Boom. I have tried LMS in Chrome and Firefox. The Boom itself works as a stand-alone, as well as through mysqueezebox.com
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you
