Hi
Only ideas and questions.
LMS has the capability to sync multiple players and to divide LEFT and RIGHT to separate players.
Throught that it's possible to set up a stereo environment freely via IP.
- Would (really would) it be a "relatively cheap hack" to choose from more than 2 channels? (regarding the effort to implement)
- No need to think about receivers.
- On the consumer side a full blown HiRes Surround setup could be achieved with rel. little money by using Raspi Boxes.
- Demand? Only DSD? Only exhibitions/ installations/ art environments?
What do others think?
Best
