Scanning issue with 7.7.1, Lang settings on NAS?

Hello,

I have LMS 7.7.1 installed on a Lenovo NAS and it seems to work, except that I cannot complete a scan of my library that is also on the NAS of course.

When starting LMS I get the following message:

Code:

Your locale was detected as C, you may have problems with non-Latin filenames.  Consider changing your LANG variable to the correct locale, i.e. en_US.utf8
[16-02-06 18:34:30.7984] main::init (354) Starting Logitech Media Server (v7.7.1, r33735, Mon Nov 28 16:52:32 MST 2011) perl 5.014002

But the strange thing to me is that I get the following result when I type locale in the NAS:

Code:

root@Natverksdisk:/mnt/pools/A/A0/Documents/FFP/lib/logitechmediaserver-7.7.1# locale
LANG=en_US.utf8
LANGUAGE=
LC_CTYPE="en_US.utf8"
LC_NUMERIC="en_US.utf8"
LC_TIME="en_US.utf8"
LC_COLLATE="en_US.utf8"
LC_MONETARY="en_US.utf8"
LC_MESSAGES="en_US.utf8"
LC_PAPER="en_US.utf8"
LC_NAME="en_US.utf8"
LC_ADDRESS="en_US.utf8"
LC_TELEPHONE="en_US.utf8"
LC_MEASUREMENT="en_US.utf8"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_US.utf8"
LC_ALL=

Is it likely something in the media server that needs to be adjusted for the scan to work or could it be anyhow something with the language settings that the LMS cannot see? I know that I´m missing rc.conf file in the etc folder, no such existed from start, is this a file LMS requires?

Any idea on how to find a solution for the scan to work?

BR. Kenneth
