Sorry for the vague title, but so many problems have suddenly appeared I didn't know how to describe them in a short phrase!
My system:
Win7Pro64, 16GB RAM, multi-TB of HDD
LMS 8.2.0
About five SB3, typically only one or two playing at any time. Mostly hard-wired (Ethernet).
About 35,000 tracks, all as FLAC with tags. I create my own playlists, and play those in LMS after scanning.
Firefox 94.0.1 64-bit
Until recently, LMS was working fine (I've been using it, in various incarnations, since 2007), with none of the following problems.
After experiencing all these problems over the past few days (no major changes to my system software or hardware), first thing I tried was clearing the \cache directory and doing a complete 'clear everything and rescan'. Didn't fix anything. Next I tried uninstalling LMS and reinstalling a freshly-downloaded v8.2.0. Also fixed nothing. So I'm a bit stuck. Here are the main problems:
1. Although ReplayGain (track) is enabled for all players (via LMS Settings), they don't appear to be honouring the gain tag values (volumes all over the place).
2. All tracks are tagged with Artists and Title, but LMS no longer displays the track artists (only the album artists) see screen-shot.
3. When I click on a track in the LMS list, the song info is not displayed in the left pane, as it used to be see screen-shot.
4. Sometimes when I switch to the LMS tab in Firefox, instead of displaying the tracks list in the main pane, that pane is empty and a spinning 'wait' icon revolves in the page-number bar. Usually tapping <F5> stops that and displays the tracks list, but sometimes there is frantic disc activity and LMS won't refresh the list for many tens of minutes (like it's doing a rescan, though none was requested or scheduled).
