Happy New Year all, I'm just noting an issue I can't find on here: just twice in the past couple of years LMS has lost the stored list of podcasts.
Most recently it happened after an update to my ReadyNAS(212 running OS6) firmware and NAS restart. LMS8.2.0 came back seamlessly with everything except the saved list of podcasts, I just see 'Recently played' and that's empty.
Restarting LMS (and updating various plugins at the same time) had no effect.
Restarting the ReadyNAS via the web UI had no effect.
I have checked that I can SSH into the NAS in case there's a file that I can look for.
However, I don't know which file and I'm wary of being root in general, and this OS in particular after 'ls' didn't show me anything.
Recreating the list will take only 15 mins or so, which I'll do now.
I guess this might be somehow related to (not) refreshing Cache from prefs.
So more than anything else, I'm just reporting this rare behaviour, and recommending that you save the podcast list somewhere if like me you can't easily get it otherwise (copy-paste from screen?).
[and I'm delighted to discover the threads on 'reliable' and the streaming mode setting in the process, which I'm looking forward to trying]
