Spotify App Assistance - Can someone direct me to appropriate link

I am running LMS 7.7.3 on a Mac OS X 10.9.1 box. I have the Spotify app installed and all the playlists etc. show properly on the UI. Trouble is I can get nothing to play. Clicking play will seemingly start the stream, but then it stops after a few seconds. This is the same for all content on Spotify.

I'm assuming this is fairly common and has been resolved by others, but my search could not locate a response. Could someone direct me to the appropriate resource to debug this?
