I just tried CUETools to check accurateness of an older rip (flac files, not made with eac or dbpoweramp). Since it detected some mismatches compared to the accuraterip db, I tried the repair method, which worked fine. I then copied the resulting flac files over the original flac files in my LMS library.
After the new&changed-scan, I looked to the tags of these files in LMS and found that there's a VENDOR tag with the value "CUETools 2.1.5" (the version I've used). This tag is not displayed in mp3tag's extended tags dialog, which - as I alway assumed - is the ultimate source to check all tags of a file.
Since CUETools also created a cue file and this has been scanned by LMS also, I deleted that cue file and performed a clear&rescan everything. But the result is still the same: LMS shows that VENDOR tag, but mp3tag doesn't. (And yes, I've doublechecked that I'm looking at the same file.)
Any ideas why?
