I was running the SBS on my NAS and had an awful time trying to get it to work properly. Most of the time the squeezeboxes couldn't connect to the server or searches wouldn't work.
I then tried running another SBS from my desktop PC and putting it to the music stored on the NAS, and works 100% of the time.
The specs for my NAS are:
HP 658553-001 ProLiant N40L Ultra Micro Tower Server System AMD Turion II Neo N40L 1.5GHz 2C 2GB (1 x 2GB)
And my collection is about 100k of songs. Is my NAS just not up to running SBS well enough?
