Hi,
I have a Logitech Squeezebox Slim which is controlled by Logitech Media Server (status below)
Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.0 - 1408216432 @ Sun Aug 17 04:04:19 CUT 2014
Server IP Address: 10.41.3.168
Server HTTP Port Number: 9100
I live in Germany and listen to the BBC Radio for sports..e.g. at the moment the Cricket World Cup
If I do not switch on my VyprVPN and direct to the UK then I cannot listen to the BBC Radio Five Live extra from an INTERNET BROWSER..usual message about location..
I redirect with VPN and presto! I can listen...
However, quite recently I have not been able to use the Logitech Media Server->Squeeezebox to perform the same functionality.
I haven't a clue why this should be however extra information or points worth noting which may be relevant.
1. The Server IP Address: 10.41.3.168 as shown above is mystifying IPlocators do not help
2. I am using a DYnDNS name which is correctly pointing to the VPN proxy in the UK...but nevertheless never referenced in the Logitech set up.
3. HTTP Port Number 9100 is Port Forwarded to my PC IP address.
4. Obviously I am not being blocked on the Web site (BBC) so the VPN is doing its job...
Anybody got any ideas as to what the problem may be ??
Cheers,
